Goup Activities

Our Men's and Women's Groups hold special meetings and events throughout the year, including retreats, outings, dinners, sporting events, and more. We also have an active Senior Citizens group with regular meetings and special activities.

Did You Know?

We have a church library, open during service times and office hours. Avaliable resources include tapes, CD, DVDs, books, references, and more. Stop by for your study & entertainment.

Sunday Mornings

We are a friendly and hospitable church. To make you feel welcome, our valet service will offer to park your car when you pull up to the doors. When you step in, our greeters will welcome you. Our ushers will help you find where you need to go. Our congregation will undoubtedly greet you with handshakes and smiles. We even offer breakfast (at a minimal charge to cover cost) for your convenience.

We offer Christian Education at 9:30 a.m. for ages 3 and up, including programs for adults and seniors. Service begins at 10:30 a.m. We offer nursery during this time for ages 2 and under. After our dynamic worship, children ages 3 to 11 are dismissed to Kids Church for lessons, games, snacks, and crafts, while you will be encouraged and uplifted with inspirational preaching and teaching.

Life Help

We provide help for real life issues, including transportation to church, GriefShare for those suffering loss, DivorceCare for those going through divorce, Vessels of Honor for abuse healing, our annual Christmas toy give-away, and short-term crisis counselling.

Wednesday Evenings

Our Family Night is Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Activities on this night include nursery for ages 2 and under, our worship service and Bible Study for adults, and our various support groups. Children from age 3 through 5th grade participate in W4K, a program offering music, crafts, games, snack, and multimedia learning. Teens in 6th to 12th grade attend Fusion Youth Group, an energetic and inspiring experience for your Junior or Senior High student. This entire night is enjoyable and inspirational for every member of your family.

Got Cash?

One enjoyable way we fill needs in the church is our fundraiser dinners. When a need is identified, our fundraising team puts together a delicious meal that is enjoyable to our community while collecting donations to meet urgent needs such a food for the food pantry, new carpet in the nursery, or whatever else comes our way!

Prayer Ministries

Prayer is a vital part of any church. To that end, we offer regularly scheduled prayer meetings called Soaking Sessions. We also hold a weekly prayer meeting from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Sunday mornings in the church sanctuary. And many members of our church choose to become Pastor's Prayer Partners, a ministry dedicated to interceding for, protecting, and blessing our Pastor through prayer.

Prison Ministry

Members of our prison ministry team visit the incarcerated in the prison facilities in Coldwater, Michigan. We host church services there every month, bringing the message of hope and help to men who desperately need it.

Other Activities

We hold many other activities at our church on a reglar basis as well. Bible studies are frequently taught at the church, so check our upcoming events to see if any are scheuled in the near future. Church on the Street meets every week on Tuesday evenings during the summer months at a location within the community to share food, fun, and most of all the good news about Jesus. Every month a team goes to the medical care facility to sing and preach, giving spiritual encouragement to the elderly and infirm. And if you love to bake, why not participate in Cookies for Cops? Baked goods are brought in to the church, then distributed to State, County, and local law enforcement to show them our appreciation for all that they do.

Get Involved

We are a church with a ministry and outreach philosophy, and new ministries are popping up all the time. The Bible tells us that "We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10, NIV) This means that God is calling everyone who believes in Him to serve others and do good works as a part of His Kingdom. Why not become a part of what God is doing at Hillsdale Assembly of God?
